Art, photography, writing--all sorts--and humor are now being accepted for Strada Company's first ever arts and thinkings magazine, Jink. Jink, as you may have Googled, means a sudden change of direction or in a more vernacular sense, a trick or joke. Urban Dictionary thinks Jink means money. Well, we might be making a lot of jokes and changing directions precipitously, but at this time we don't have much money. We do have a large mailing list and a city that is--despite what its government or major employers think--kind of an arts community. A city that makes ideas, we would say.
Interested artists should commit (we don't say submit here) through email to Stradatheatre@gmail.com. We absolutely will not use a thing of yours until you tell us we can, nor will we share it with anybody. If you have questions, contact me directly: Michael Fenlason at Michael.Fenlason@gmail.com. Our September issue will feature the theme of: Artist Woman Troublemaker.
Jink accepts commissions from a variety of forms including video. If you're not sure what the parameters are, write me. We can talk about it.
