The Tubac Center of the Arts presents We Live Here Now, an exhibition of art at the Tucson International Airport Galleries, October 1, 2019, to January 2, 2020. Work of any medium is eligible. Interested artists must live in southern Arizona. The exhibition will be co-produced and juried by the artist collective Strada Company of Tucson.

Artwork:

 

Giclee reproductions printed on canvas are not permitted.  Artists are invited to submit up to four works. Entry must be original, entirely the work of the artist, executed within the last 48 months, and cannot have been previously shown at the Tubac Center of the Arts. Please note that the TIA Gallery is a public space and artwork may not contain themes of violence, controversy, and sexual themes. 

No art may be removed from the exhibit prior to the close of the exhibition on Thursday, January 2, 2020, including sold art.

 

Awards:

 

Awards will be selected during the Opening on October 1, 2019.  Awards will be judged by Strada Company.

 

Best of Show - $300

Award of Excellence - $200

Best of Photography - $100 

Award of Merit     - $100

Abstract Award - $75

 

Fees:

Entry fees are $30. $25 for Tubac Center of the Arts members, $15 for students or those with student loan debt. Additional entries are $3. TCA members discount code is AIR20. Students discount code is FUTURE20. Applicants misusing discount codes, obviously, will be disqualified without refund.
